Whether you are designing a new build scheme or addressing the changing thermal needs of your existing structures; externally applied insulated renders offer suitable solutions to solid wall single skin, concrete or timber framed buildings. Insulation panels are set out on to the external face of the structure to provide a line and level. Adhesive mortars & mechanical fixings are used to secure the insulating panels - the exact fixing pattern is established to suit the property and the fixing methods have been assessed through rigorous testing

The system is unique for refurbishing buildings from the inside and significantly upgrading the insulation properties whilst remaining fully breathable – with no vapour barrier. Presented as a prize winning innovation at the Munich Bau exhibition, this ‘intelligent’ insulation consists of a breathable rigid polyurethane foam panel, adhered to the structure walls, then rendered and painted with compatible products to offer a solution which solves condensation, mould and heat loss problems all-in-one
